Vancouver with Seagate

The buzz about Vancouver is true. Jana and I had a blast hanging out up there with the Seagate crew. They were holding their Worldwide Finance & Human Resources meeting at the Four Seasons. We were invited to come along and photograph the event. It was great. We got to meet so many nice people from all over the world. Seagate must be doing something right, as many of the people we meet have been with Seagate for 10, 20, and more years.

Jana & I arrived a day early to scout things out. We were able to connect with our friend Ryan Wheemhoff for dinner at the Irish Heather—best pot pie ever.

The Amazing Race was a team building adventure on Tuesday that had all 130 Seagate employees running all over Vancouver. We hired local photographer, James Moes, to shoot with us. He captured some sweet images and is our new pal. I look forward to the next time our paths cross.

The last night we presented a slideshow of "The Amazing Race" and a tribute to Charles C. Pope in honor of his retirement announcement. After the closing festivities, Duane kept the party rolling by treating a handful of us to his skills on the keys.

Thanks for having us Karen.
