Ok. That was awesome. This weekend my family came to Santa Cruz for a visit. It was great to get together and hang out. A big highlight for the boys was Saturday. My dad Johnie, my brother James and I cruised up to the Infineon Raceway near Napa to watch our friend Kevin Marshall race his Clear Capital sponsored Ferrari F430 in one of the Ferrari Challenge series races. Kevin had a great race Saturday and I heard an even better race Sunday with a top 10 finish. Thanks for hooking us up Kevin. That was a blast. Good luck with the rest of the series. I hope I can catch another race sometime this year.That night we all went out to eat at one of our favorite spots in Santa Cruz, Malabar. They are in a sweet new space on Front Street. The food is amazing—it more than makes up for the less than stellar service.
Sunday was a relaxing day of bagels, a little time at the beach, an afternon at the park, cooking out for dinner, and the remainder of the evening around the chiminea. What a great life.
