Susie + Dave

We love home-grown weddings. Susie & Dave's wedding last weekend in Happy Valley was a fun example of everybody chipping in with their gifts and talents to bless the bride and groom. From flowers, to homemade jam favors, to sweet handmade bridesmaids dresses, their day was full of personal touches with a fun vintage flair. Friends brought food and helped with everything from the set up to tear down. One of my favorite details was the circa 1920 ceramic bride & groom cake topper. Like an old-fashion barn raising, you could feel how excited everyone was these two found love. It was simply a lovely day.
