Our dear friend, Scott Halverson, has been battling cancer. A few weeks back I had a voicemail from Scott. He said, in an understandably shaky voice, he had been given 50/50 odds by a leading oncologist and that he would like me to do some family portraits for them in case he didn't make it. I was truly honored he invited me to join their family for a photo session at this difficult time. His family of origin was in town and everyone was in good spirits for the shoot. While Scott had a little energy, we worked through a few different shots set in their garden. This shoot is part one. We all look forward to part two at the beach when Scott is back to health. If you are the praying kind, please pray for Scott and his family.
