It was a sad day yesterday for the retro-grouch in me. My dear 1964 Vespa moved on. No more blue two stroke smoke for me....sigh. It's for the best. I'm trying to simplify and make less of an impact. My conscience has been getting the better of me over my pollution contribution. Between my '63 VW Bug and the '64 Vespa I'm not exactly doing the ozone layer any favors. It was a fun scoot and it's gone to the best second home possible. Our good friend Sam Olson is the proud new owner. Now the plan is to pick up a new, clean burning, 70 mpg, Vespa soon. Stay tuned...
