It was a weekend to stop and smell the flowers. I headed down to my old stomping grounds, Kingsburg, CA, to hang out at my parents' house. I had a great weekend. Friday I drove down after the traffic mellowed and picked up James & Courtney from the Fresno Airport. Saturday morning James, Courtney, Emmeline, Levi and I stopped by the Young Life yard sale, proceeded to Diane's for Swedish pancakes, and headed home for naps. Mid-day we all walked down to Roosevelt School—it was perfect outside. Here is the slideshow of a few shots from our walk. That night we all went out to eat at this great Asian Fusion place called Dai Bai Dang. I'm a big fan of their seared ahi salad. Sunday we all slept in as much as Levi saw fit. (Levi and I have differing opinions on the proper Sunday wake-up hour) After breakfast we started tiling my parents bathroom, which my dad had prepped previously. By 5:00 it was looking really cool. We cleaned up and I bailed up to Fresno to have dinner with my good friend Dan Dodson. We had a great time catching up. flickr photos
